People Solutions host HR experts from the legal industry

Lockton Hong Kong’s People Solutions team hosted a breakfast meeting in March 2024 for HR experts from the legal services industry. The event focused on inspiration, knowledge-sharing, and networking, serving as an excellent platform for HR professionals from the same industry to exchange invaluable insights and delve into emerging market trends — with a special emphasis on women's health and fertility.

Our agenda was thoughtfully designed with engaging sessions, and included the following:

  • The latest industry benchmarking results
  • Key insights from our Asia Benefits Survey, presented by Manus Chan, SVP, Consulting, Analytics and Innovations, Lockton Greater China
  • An inspiring presentation on supporting women's health by guest speaker Dawn Chan, CEO and founder, Sow Fertility
  • An interactive wellness sharing session, led by Vivi Kwok, Head of Corporate Wellbeing, Lockton Asia, and Fiona Ho, Growth Marketing Executive, People Solutions, Lockton Hong Kong

These sessions aimed to foster meaningful dialogue on promoting wellbeing, while driving actionable steps to enable informed decision-making in the workplace. Participants shared common challenges and offered impactful insights to one another. Together, we can foster positive support in the HR landscape, championing diversity and inclusivity.

Lockton Hong Kong’s Dress Pink Day

Lockton Hong Kong Associates added a splash of pink to their outfits as they took part in the office’s Pink Party, in October. The colour pink has become strongly associated with breast cancer awareness due to the popularisation of the ‘pink ribbon’, a symbol used by breast cancer charities. The team stood together in solidarity to support the Hong Kong Cancer Fund and spread awareness in the fight against breast cancer. The team also prepared some pink snacks for those who donated, such as pink meringues and teddy bears.

Lockton Hong Kong’s Lap Dog Challenge

In December, the Lockton Hong Kong Team took part in 2024’s Lap Dog Challenge to raise funds for the Hong Kong Benevolence Fund of Lighthouse Club — a charity that helps those affected by incidents in the Hong Kong construction industry. A minority of the funds raised in this event also went to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. The Lap Dog Challenge is a charitable sporting event in Hong Kong, where teams of runners compete to complete as many laps of a 400m track as possible within a set time to raise funds for a charity. Through their strength and determination, the team exceeded their initial pledge of 40 laps, instead recording a total of 256 laps.

Lockton competes in Fearless Dragon Sports Challenge

Between December 2024 and February 2025, Lockton Associates completed two charity runs as part of Lockton Fearless Dragon Sports Challenge. The Fearless Dragon Sports Challenge is a charity event in Hong Kong that promotes inclusion and involves a variety of running and walking events. Participants can choose to run blindfolded and be guided by others, or guide others who are blindfolded.

Along with 500+ other runners, our Hong Kong and Guangdong teams ran in the 5km race of Lockton Fearless Dragon Trail Run 2024, on 1 December. Tony Choi, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Sports Institute, partnered with Eva Chan of the Fearless Dragon team, and KK Li, Managing Director of United Overseas Bank Hong Kong Branch, partnered with Chun Fai of Fearless Dragon team as his guide runner. A very successful event saw the largest number of participants among its past six sessions. Through this challenge, we aimed to raise funds for the Hong Kong Network for Promotion of Inclusive Network to support the training and operation costs of its disabled runner team.
