In November 2024, Lockton China hosted an insurance seminar in Shanghai — enabling insurance experts and clients to meet and discuss trending topics and market updates.
Co-sponsored by Huatai Insurance Group, the event took place at the elegant Sinan Mansions in Huangpu. The speakers shared current and future economic outlooks with guests, while analysing geopolitical issues which could affect the business environment and insurance markets. This information can help clients to understand and prepare for the risks and threats they may expect to face.

Lucy Dong joins Lockton Shanghai’s People Solutions
In February 2025, Lucy Dong joined Lockton Greater China as Assistant Vice President, Consulting and Innovations, People Solutions. Lucy is based in Shanghai and reports to Jerry Wang.
Prior to joining Lockton, Lucy gained experience from leading consulting firms, such as Mercer and Euromonitor, developing expertise in market strategy, HR, and ESG consulting — creating value and impact for both teams and clients.
At Lockton, Lucy's addition will significantly enhance our capabilities in HR consulting. Her expertise will span various areas, including ESG, DEI, compensation and benefits, wellbeing, and Chinese companies looking to expand globally. With Lucy on board, we will be better equipped to provide our clients with optimised HR and risk management solutions — ultimately boosting Lockton's competitive edge in the market.
Aaron Hou joins Shanghai’s Reinsurance team
In April 2025, Aaron Hou joined Lockton as AVP, Reinsurance, Shanghai. Prior to joining Lockton, Aaron was in charge of reinsurance business development for the central region of SCOR China Life & Health. He also has strong experience in direct insurance companies, such as AIA China and Taiping Life.
