Summary of announcement
Skuld have announced a 7.5% overall adjusment for the 2026 renewal and will continue to focus on individual membership performance instead of imposing a GI.
For the first period of the 2025 policy year, the Club reported that the frequency of Pool claim notifications had improved, however that the overall environment remains unsatisfactory. They anticipate an increase in claims activity through the last period of 2025.
Skuld have expressed concern that, both within their own retention and within the International Group layers, claims cost escalation has been driven by large claims and a lack of adequate premium to cater for them.
The Club have noted that their growth in recent years and strong financial position help to absorb some of this noted volatility and have reaffirmed their growth ambitions.
All lower deductibles wll be increased to minimum Skuld standard levels.
Further details can be found in the Club's bulletin, here.
