Areas for Improvement for RSA?
Onshore Construction – Provide more capacity.
Power & Renewables – Underwriting resourcing.
Real Estate – Lack of mid level/junior underwriter(s) leading to senior underwriter(s) being inundated with administrative work.
Belfast – Greater appetite and be more keen to write new business.
Aberdeen – Quote more - we're still working to understand their appetite.
Birmingham – More flexibility on trades that are willing to write.
Glasgow – Quicker responses to enquiries and pricing.
London Retail – RSA require head office approval/sign off for far greater items in comparison to their peers. It subsequently makes mid-term adjustments / renewal painful and slow versus their peers.
Manchester Corporate – Be more competitive and develop relationship.
Newcastle – Improve response to new business enquiries.
NA Property – Provide greater capacity.
