Areas for Improvement for BHSI?
Energy Liability – They need to provide better pricing on UK business.
Onshore Construction – They should expand their territorial appetite. They have great people but their appetite limits them.
Power & Renewables – Their turnaround times can be slow.
Aberdeen – It would be good if they engaged more on other classes of business.
Birmingham – They need to be more visible.
Manchester Corporate – Often, BHSI can only provide follow lines / small lead lines. Improved capacity on this would help.
ROW Casualty – Their local office headcount need improving.
FI – They should remove barriers to trade (i.e. cumbersome Cyber questions across every risk). They are the only market to request such information (as well as significant subjectivities) and this puts them at a disadvantage and stops them winning business.
ML – They need to adjust their pricing to be more competitive.
PI – Development of the Multinational function would be excellent.
Transactional Risks – Their level of coverage needs developing.
