Global Real Estate – Strengths include communication, competitive pricing and accessibility to decision makers.

UK Construction - Provide insurance of small to medium size construction projects and have large CAR capacity with competitive pricing.

Belfast – Allianz have a strong Engineering Inspection service, a wide appetite and good range of products.

Dublin – Strengths include technical knowledge of the team, pricing and Contractors offering.

Aberdeen – Fleet, Leisure, and Engineering Inspection are key strengths.

Birmingham – Strong Engineering Inspection and ability to build relationships.

Glasgow – Allianz have a strong Engineering Inspection and the appetite to underwrite multiple classes of business.

London Retail – Strengths include UK domiciled packages and the Motor department.

Manchester Corporate – The team are good at communicating and have good engineering options.

Newcastle – Allianz are consistent, engage frequently, have a strong Engineering Inspection service and work hard for business within core appetite.

Management Liabilities - Willing to take a look at any risk we share and provide easy access to technical underwriters who provide a high-level response.

National PI Accountants – The team are good at communicating, engaging and building relationships.

National PI Construction & Property – Allianz are competitive, flexible and the team visit the office regularly.

National PI Misc / Recruitment - They provide quick turnaround times and very competitive pricing.

National PI Regulatory - Communication is a strongpoint for Allianz.

National PI Solicitors E&W - Allianz provide honest opinions.

Private Clients - Broad appetite, easy access to decision makers and timely responses.

Areas for Improvement for Allianz?

Construction Investments - It would be good if Allianz had greater flexibility with SME business for surety.

Global Real Estate – Allianz should improve their international capabilities, particularly European business.

UK Construction – To improve, Allianz should increase flexibility of coverage and agree to the Lockton wording with fewer amendments.

Belfast – Could broaden coverage and improve claims communication and Live Chat availability.

Dublin – Allianz could improve response/turnaround times.

Aberdeen – Allianz should increase engagement/visibility and be more flexible, particularly with commercial combined products and the pricing of SME products.

Birmingham – Pricing and approach to renewals needs to be improved.

Glasgow – It would be helpful if Allianz were more visible in the Glasgow office.

London Retail – Allianz could improve relationship building as well as the service and flexibility of Engineering department.

Manchester Corporate – The team should improve their local trading presence and increase engagement.

Newcastle - Allianz could be more responsive, flexible and more pragmatic in their approach to renewals.

Management Liabilities - They need to improve engagement with brokers to build the relationship.

National PI Accountants - It would be good to see Allianz have higher decision-makers in the Regions and improve the structure of the Allianz PI wordings.

National PI Misc / Recruitment - It would be helpful if they offered broader fire cover.

National PI Regulatory – Allianz’s pricing needs improving, and their surveyor’s appetite should be developed.

National PI Solicitors E&W - Allianz could try to cater for business outside of their appetite every so often.

Private Clients - Perhaps Allianz could sharpen their rates slightly.
