Leadership Team expands with new Director of Special Accounts

Lockton Brazil has appointed Thiago Tristão as Director of Special Accounts. This move aims to strengthen Lockton’s operations in corporate risk and enhance our services to large clients that demand a more strategic and consultative approach.

With over 27 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Thiago has held leadership roles at major global and local insurers. He played a key role in expanding retail and reinsurance operations at one of Brazil’s top brokers, and has led property programmes for key sectors such as pulp and paper, warehousing, food and beverage, and energy. His background also includes strong expertise in strategic planning, client relationship management, and building long-term partnerships.

Thiago’s arrival reinforces our commitment to moving beyond transactional models to become strategic partners for complex accounts and delivering innovative and tailored insurance solutions across multiple industries, while strengthening its position in both the Brazilian and Latin American risk management market.

Developing talents that inspire

As part of Lockton Brazil’s culture of care, we deeply value the continuous development of our team members. We have embraced global mobility initiatives as part of our talent development strategy, offering professionals the chance to broaden their perspectives and grow beyond borders.

A great example is Dayane Soares, who recently spent three months working at our London office, engaging with different areas of the business, gaining new knowledge, and experiencing a unique cultural and professional exchange.

Dayane returned to Brazil full of valuable insights and renewed energy — inspired by everything she learned and lived through during her time abroad. This is meaningful development — experiences that shape careers and connect people across continents.
