Canal & River Trust Volunteering Day, January 2025
A team of 10 volunteers from our Manchester office took to the Rochdale Canal in January last year to support the Canal & River Trust.
The team worked hard clearing buddleia and ivy from the canal banks and used nets and litter pickers to remove all kinds of debris from the water and surrounding areas. By the end of the day, they had filled an impressive eight-tonne bag with litter.
Whitechapel Mission, February 2025
The Global Energy Team kicked off 2025 bright and early, volunteering at the Whitechapel Mission, preparing and serving meals to those experiencing homelessness. In addition, the team generously donated over £1,000 worth of Christmas presents to the Evelina Charity, spreading festive cheer to children in need. Well done to everyone involved.

Spitalfields City Farm, March 2025
In March and June, volunteers from our Global Real Estate and Construction team spent time helping at Spitalfields City Farm.
The teams got their hands dirty mucking out the donkey enclosure, moved 600 litres of rainwater to the pond, de-weeded several areas including the vegetable garden, sanded a chicken coop, and finished with a donkey hairbrush session.
They gained valuable insight into the farm’s mission, passions & future goals, as well as connect with the regular volunteers and dedicate themselves to their assigned tasks. The visit also included a tour of the farm & cuddles with animals, including a very cute lamb.
Noah's Ark Hospice Visit, September 2025
In September, the Trustees of the Lockton Charity Association held a quarterly meeting at Noah’s Ark Hospice in Barnet. They saw firsthand how the amazing work of Together for Short Lives supports seriously ill children and how our fundraising is making an impact.
Carlo Ramadoro, Lockton Charity Trustee and Head of Cyber and Technology, said: “I was worried about the emotional impact that this experience would have on me. However, while I did shed and hold back a few tears, the visit couldn’t have been more wonderful.
“The attention to detail is what really impressed me, but what really touched me is how beautiful and gracious the whole team was. Everyone we encountered, from the first receptionist to the cleaners, were smiling and making you feel comfortable. Beautiful place, truly fantastic. I am very happy that we decided to schedule our visit.”

Stepney City Farm, October 2025
The ProExec Claims Team spent a Community Day at Stepney City Farm, a working farm in Tower Hamlets that provides a unique educational resource focused on food growing, animal care, environmental sustainability and rural crafts.
The day was a fantastic opportunity to connect as a team by bringing together 27 colleagues while helping volunteer at the farm last October. Everyone showed real enthusiasm, rolling up their sleeves to support the farm by caring for the goats, sheep, ducks and pigs, harvesting crops, and helping with a range of essential maintenance tasks.
