Manchester Seashell Trust – 20th June 2024
A group from the Manchester office volunteered to help with the Inter-College Sports day, Natspec Games for SEND colleges which was held on Thursday 20th June, Sportcity, Manchester. The event brings together colleges from across the North West for teams to participate in a number of activities, including the Grande finale, the 50 metre running race!


Ignite Plastic Fishing
Ignite community day, where associates competed to fish for the most litter in the Canary Wharf waterways on the world’s first fleet of electrical boats, made from 99% recycled plastic.
Lockton Transportation at Abbey Gardens
The Transportation team volunteered to uphold and nurture the ongoing activities and advancement within the gardens. The tasks involved sowing seeds and propagating plants herb, painting beds to describe what plants are growing, creating signs to distinguish flora and signage to highlight different areas of the space and their purpose, laying wood chip to mulch fruit trees, berries, keep grounds and paths dry, accessible and free from weeds.


GREAC Community Project – Spitafields City Farm
On Thursday 12th September, 16 volunteers from the Global Real Estate and Construction team spent the afternoon at Spitalfields City Farm, helping with a selection of jobs for this vital community hub in the heart of the city. The team worked hard through weather of all seasons to provide 32 total hours of work.
Lockton Re – Huminatrian Aid Mission to Ukraine

On the 23rd of June, and with a huge amount of support from Dan and Anvar, Alasdair, Henry, Kaz and Nigel from the Lockton Re’s London office set off to Poland.
The objective was to deliver critical humanitarian aid to the conflict-impacted regions in Ukraine, supporting the ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering caused by the war. The aid included the delivery of medical equipment, startup equipment for a new shelter, and essential supplies for a shelter in Poland.


CSR – Soup Kitchen London Street Outreach
On 29th October, the Legal, Risk, Compliance and Secretariat (LRCS) team volunteered at a Soup Kitchen as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) day. In their own words, “established in 1986, the Soup Kitchen has been a pillar of support for the homeless, elderly, lonely, and vulnerable individuals in London. Our mission is to offer more than just free meals, clothing, and toiletries; we strive to create a sense of belonging for nearly 200 of our friends each day”.
